Last week a land deal saw Diver of Wahpeton and Bonzer and Mathews of Lidgerwood buy the Adams farm, a vast 8 160 acre tract described as one of the state’s best. Buyers may split it into many small farms or form a holding company to manage the land as speculation drives its value toward 100 per acre.
Wm. Schutt arrived from Hankinson last week and bought a new automobile. After taming the machine he fired a shot, then called for his wife and his friend Lowry to join him for a triumphant return to Wahpeton in the new car.
