Cattleman Jim Miller reports cattle sales from 7 to 85 cents and invites contracts for 100 to 20,000 head along the Central Pacific line with $8,000 in good faith. Keough Bros. have paid out over a half million dollars for stock in Modoc, Lassen, Plumas, and Sierra counties. Reno shipments may bring 100 more cattle soon. Also notes include dental practice openings and local business developments in Reno and Lovelock.
