Armour Training School plans grand division and $50,000 yearly endowment
The Armour Training School proposed by Mr Philip D Armour will be a substantial two building complex 175 by 85 feet with three equal sections including north and middle pavilions for scholarly work and a south section for manual training. An adjoining one story wing houses boilers and engines with two large Corliss engines powering machinery and electric lights. Total building cost about $200,000 excluding furniture.
