Public installation of officers at Western Star and affiliated bodies
The Friday evening ceremony at the Western Star and Allied Masonic bodies drew a crowded audience for the public installation of officers of Murtha Chapter Order Eastern Star led by Mrs. Lt Booth of Rann and Grand Matron for California. Grand Master Enoch Strother assisted, with many officers installed at Wadsworth Lodge No. 2A. A banquet for about 250 followed, featuring addresses on Masonry, music, and recitations. The event concluded with social celebration and remarks on Masonry's principles.
