Gen C Pownihy of Washoe county Hon Thomas Wren of Eureka and Hon M S Bonnifield of Humboldt county met in Carson at 10 o clock Monday to cast the states votes for President and Vice President. The vote was unanimous for the Silver party candidates James B Weaver of Iowa and James G Field of Virginia. Bonnifield chosen as messenger to deliver the vote to Washington.

Library Meeting Lets Talk of Smoking Room
The EB and M Library Association held a crowded meeting last Friday to discuss limiting topics and securing quarters for a smoking room.
