Robbery at Salt Works Ends with Arrest of Dennis Murphy
Dennis Murphy, a former Salt Works employee, robbed the Salt Works safe of about fifty six dollars and a watch after disguising himself with a cape and grain-wrapped clothes. He was recognized by his voice by witness Willey, fled, later returned the money and watch as a joke, and was arrested by Deputy Marshall Golding in Reno pending a preliminary examination on the robbery of the United States mail.
