Fatal Accident at Wadsworth Yard Claims William Dinsmore
In Wadsworth Nevada on August 7 1893 William Dinsmore aged 68 native of Missouri died after being crushed by the foot board of a yard engine in the town railroad yard. The inquest found death due to internal injuries from the accident and held no blame on anyone. The deceased was well known in the area since the Lown was built and funeral arrangements were noted.

The couple departed by the westbound Santa Cruz train after receiving many presents.

Avalust 7th 1893 Hot Springs Wedding Gossip
From Hot Springs August 7 1893 Mrs Merrill and daughters Mina Lillie and Genie left this morning for Reno to attend the wedding of Genie Merrill and Mr A Hammerson. They will extend the trip to the lakes. Jesse Ford of Verdi will receive Miss Merrill at the Springs. Mr and Mrs Wm Craig consider leaving the area if Mr Hunt sends a young fireman. A company is incorporated with J W Smith secretary and Mr Schriber president. Weather is very hot and rumors say Schriber may move into real estate at the Springs. Tom and Waller plan for the World’s Fair in September.
