Mystery call ties Dickinson triple murder to quiet home
A deputy sheriff in Dickinson Texas reported a mystery call leading to the discovery of three dead in a Farm Road 517 residence. Mrs. John McPherson, her 14 year old son George and the mother in law were found in beds with two shot deaths and one throat slash, no sign of a struggle or robbery, and no weapon recovered. The victims were described as well to do with no known enemies. The slayings are believed to have occurred mid week, Wednesday or Thursday, at the secluded Dickinson home about a mile from Dickinson and thirteen miles north of Galveston.
