Senator Hubert Humphrey, Democratic vice presidential nominee, toured Waco Texas on Thursday. He appeared at Lake Air Center Mall, spoke to students, rode in an open car, and praised social security and education while contrasting with Barry Goldwater.
The 1965 Greater Waco United Fund total reached 191 230 dollars as reports from volunteers in multiple divisions came in. Awards were given to 16 new United Fund E winners and two Little Angel recipients.
