Memorial services will be conducted by Voiture Locale 1037 and American Legion groups Sunday May 29 at 3 p.m. at Rosemound Cemetery veterans burial grounds. Armed Forces Day Observance At Connally AFB

About ten thousand visitors attended the Armed Forces Day events at James Connally Air Force Base where precision flying and aerobatic stunts wowed crowds. Waco Jaycees announce a November Fall Board Meeting bid with support from the Chamber of Commerce. Lubbock and Beaumont also plan bids.
