Leagues for team sports and bus transport between centers are planned. program runs through August 12, 1966 with multiple full day morning and afternoon centers listed.
Martin Crawford of Hillsboro defeated Franklin Spears of San Antonio in the runoff to become the Democratic nominee for attorney general of Texas. Labor unions backed Spears in cities like Houston, but Crawford’s alignment with Governor Connally and Central Texas solidified local support. Crawford will face the Republican nominee in November.
Baylor University begins its 77th summer session on June 8 with more than 2,000 students expected. Evening Division registration is set for June 4 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Marrs McLean Science Building. Classes start June 8 for both Evening Division and regular courses.
