Connally Base To Switch Commanders

Four White Men Settle In City Shooting Affray

Riesel Fair Set to Open With Parade and Music

The Riesel Fair begins Thursday night and runs through Saturday with a three day program of midway attractions a stage concert and agricultural exhibits. Tax Evasion Sentence For Oren A Frasier Wharton

Oren A Frasier of Wharton was sentenced in Austin Texas by U S District Judge Homer Thornberry to two years in prison and a 5090 fine for income tax evasion. The prison term was suspended and Frasier was placed on two years probation and supervision conditional on paying the fine.
