Belton hosts rodeo events from July 1 to 2 and 4 with a $5000 purse for winners. Lacy Lakeview Chief of Police John Ballard found his car smashed on both ends at Chapman Drive-In on Waco Drive Sunday afternoon. Pollard Jr Joseph Wesley, 35, of San Antonio, received probation for burglary of Robinson TV and Appliance, by Judge Vic Hall in the 54th district court Tuesday on recommendation of Adult Probation Officer Charles Doremus.
