In McLennan County Texas a jury of seven women and five men returned a life sentence for George J. Montroy after prosecutors offered a 30 year plea. Montroy had pleaded guilty to murder of Walter Gillaspie on July 31. Trial included testimony from Hondo sheriff and Waco officers. Montroy faces another murder trial in Tennessee before this sentence ends.
