Munson Still Hospitalized After Auto Injury
E. M. Munson remains in the hospital two weeks after a Saturday accident that knocked him down. His pelvis fracture and hip ligaments were injured, and his recovery is slowed by a prior long battle with rheumatism. officials do not expect release this week.

Mother Dog Rescues Pups From Burning Barn
At the Shonkwiler fire last Wednesday evening a collie dog heroically rescued two pups from the blazing barn. A second pup was burned, and two other litter members perished in the flames.
