Ordered by the Emmet county Board of Supervisors Iowa, taxes to be levied on the assessed valuation of townships and cities for 1913. A tax of 8.00 is to be levied on each female dog and 1.00 on each male dog or spayed female. A poll tax of one cent is to be levied on each male resident over 21 years of age.

Tierney’s bid to print drainage notices at thirty three and one third cents per square inch with a two year term and renewal option, and assigned payrolls for Bar Docket printing at one dollar per opening. The board approved preliminary surveys for several drainage districts and set hearings for November 11 1913, with district est ablishments, damages, and contracts covered. In joint sessions with Palo Alto County, bids and timelines for Joint Drainage District No 17 were established, with construction deadlines and adjournments noted.
The Emmet County Board of Supervisors adopts an additional 16 percent levy against Drainage District No 64 to cover unpaid balances and to fund the drainage district.
