Emmet County Board Pro Proceedings Approve Drainage Work
The Emmet County Board met in regular session on September 9 1918 with all listed members present. Bids for converting an open ditch to a closed drain in Section 1s- HOLRd Tine 97 of Drainage District No 87 were opened and read from Carl Benson Coment Products Co and others with varied bid amounts for labor bulkheads tile and construction. The board adjourned to September 16 1918 and later appointed D D No 228 as engineer in charge of the drainage work.

The Emmet County Board of Supervisors resolves to fund $33,060 of outstanding indebtedness by issuing thirty three funding bonds of $1,000 each, dated September 2, 1918, bearing 5 percent interest, due May 1, 1988, with interest semiannually.
