Weather Crop Bulletin for Week Ending Sept 9 19
The week ending September 9 was cooler than the prior seven days yet near normal in temperature, favoring crops and farm work. Showers distributed later in the week will aid pastures, late potatoes, and belated corn, with central and southern areas benefiting most. Most corn is dented and three fourths are expected to be well matured by September 20 under normal weather, all safely by the 80th. cutting begins in early planted fields and fall plowing proceeds where moisture allows. Overall, crop conditions are excellent and satisfactory.
