Specters on Parade from Industrial Review

The piece argues for greater public awareness of automobile deaths. It cites national totals of 35,000 killed yearly and urges readers to imagine a parade of victims and bereaved relatives to grasp the scale, noting local losses are smaller but still real.

The Industrial Review Comeone

Fragmented remarks mix fears and future hopes in a rural Iowa note

The piece reflects on mortality and safety as it praises careful driving and recalls the Titanic and Akron disasters. It mentions squirrels season and city hunting rules, rail against the NRA, and hints at farm prices and corn crops. A garbled section Abc appears toward the end with stray, unreadable text.
