Tumultous Community Ties and Reminiscences Across Town
A jumble of local notices recount farewells at the Ladies Aid Society and Barbroidery Club, obituaries for Mrs. Rokne and family histories from Moskenyo Wisconsin, and reminiscences on how the Roughhouse began. Territorial ties, marriage moves, and town pride surface in a mosaic of names, dates, and places from Terril Tribune and neighboring papers.

Threshing machine accident injures man near Ellery
A 20 year old man and others were at a threshing crew at the Beare of Ellery when a feeder chain broke. He placed his arm near the cylinder to remove a jam, the engine started and the knives cut his wrist and forearm. He was rushed to Dr Guthrie and treated. Reports say the accident may have been caused by a broken chain, with the machine running. His condition improved after care.
