Aeroplane failed to appear in town crowd disappointed
A large crowd gathered in Estherville to see the aeroplane and hear a talk on the constitutional prohibition amendment. The aeroplane tour, scheduled to start from Postville, was postponed due to train delays and weather. Reports from Des Moines confirmed the event would not proceed as planned, with aviator F. S. Hoyt unable to catch a train. Prohibition officials noted adjustments to the itinerary, and residents hoped for a landing in Spirit Lake later this week despite the postponement.
