Estherville Wa tan-ye clubs celebrate fifth birthday
Estherville hosts Wa tan-ye chapter anniversary with Algona guests Miss Dorothy Waldron and Arlene Reid attending dinner in the Green room of Gardston hotel. Ten Algona girls joined local members for decor by Mary Peterson and entertainment led by Fern Jackman as the high school sextet sang. A birthday cake with five candles highlighted the event along with small cakes for all. After a brief business session, games followed and telegrams from surrounding clubs were read. Bernice Clark of Estherville is national Wa tan-ye president.
