The Sunday school superintendent sets a goal of doubling the suggested increase to attract 100 more attendees next Sunday. The Woman's Missionary Society organises an all day sewing meeting for Meshed hospital, with all members asked to bring a covered dish. The South Band will be hosted by Mrs Espeset and Mrs Byron Blackperson on Friday. Junior groups for ages 12 to 15 meet at 6 30 pm in the basement, and those 15 and up meet in the Sunday school room. Last Sunday at Union Baptist Church saw increased Sunday school attendance in intermediate and adult divisions. Mrs George Letchford sang Dry Your Tears with Mrs Jesse Cox as accompanist. Dr Hurley spoke on Christian Internationalism to a large morning audience. Next Sunday features Bible school at 10 a.m. with classes and officers.
