Pullman Rates To Be Cut Across Wide Territory
Chicago November 12. Pullman company officers told the Interstate Commerce Commission that rates on Pullman berths will be reduced in nearly all areas where their cars run. The directors reached the conclusion informally at the annual meeting though no formal action has been taken. The reduction depends on ICC action or rehearing in the Loftus case, with the commission already ordering lower berth cuts and smaller cuts for upper berths except in Chicago.
