Welfare Drive To Begin Here Thursday A.M
On Thursday morning the Em met County Welfare drive begins. It is expected that the entire county will be covered in one day, Thursday by business men and those people interested in the drive for funds. Last year the efforts of the Welfare group to derive funds from the more fortunate members of Emmet county were generously rewarded, making it possible to tide the county needy through the winter with a comparative degree of comfort. It should be understood that county charges are not generally included in those which the Welfare expects to aid. It is the large number of people who perhaps need aid only through a portion of the winter or who have illness to cope with that the committee hopes to help by the funds collected by this drive.
