Weekend Activity Highlights in Superior Area
Miss Vernice Wheatley spent the weekend at her home. Forty friends and patrons of District No. 2 attended the closing day picnic in White's woods with a picnic dinner and an afternoon ball game. Several local families visited, hosted or traveled, including the Nygaards at Superior school, the Martens and Alice visiting near Dunnell, and many others at homes and gatherings. The community also held LDR and 4-H events, school picnics, and visits across Estherville, Graettinger, Ringsted, and Des Moines with various family and social connections.
