Twenty years ago in May 1913 a new police uniform was issued to Marshall McCoy clearly identifying him. Mr and Mrs F H Sanderlin and the high school faculty hosted a senior class breakfast at Gardston hotel with thirty two attendees. G G Gardner purchased the F E Allen residence including the south half of the block for nine thousand dollars. Mr and Mrs Fred Kilgore and son Lyle and daughter Edny left for Lyons Nebraska Tuesday evening and will travel to Newton Kansas for several weeks. Mrs R H Sheldon departed Monday for a visit at Oldhan Oak.

Farm Bureau Notes in Ottumwa May Meeting
Iowa Farm Bureau members from all sections will gather in Ottumwa on Sunday May 28 for a message by M B Winder executive secretary of the American Farm Bureau Federation and a final concert by the southern Iowa Farm Bureau band before it goes to the Chicago World's Fair Ottumwa expects 20000 visitors for the day band members from 100 towns will join.
