The King Perkins Co closed their season Friday night with a full reserved section at the Opera House. Mr and Mrs Frank G King greeted by an ovation. The play, now four acts after cuts since last fall, features Frank G King and Mattie Perkins with Frank G Jr and Mattie Perking. Junior Frank G Jr shines as the hit of the evening in the role of the little Chink, with standout dancing.

Death of Olivia Pierson Aids Nurse Training Dream
Olivia Julia Pierson daughter of Mr and Mrs Nels Pierson residing south of Wallingford died of typhoid fever at Northwestern Hospital Minneapolis. Born August 19 1879 in Sycamore Illinois later moved to Iowa. She sought nurse training and passed away after two weeks illness with family at her bedside. Funeral services scheduled with Rev Campbell.

Robt Grant, special agent for the RL I PR R, left for Fairbault Minnesota then southern Texas for vacation. The North Band of the Ladies League will entertain the Presbyterian church at Mrs H G Grants home Friday afternoon with supper. The commercial club will discuss railroad and interurban lines with invited promoters. E D Sanborn reports strong Farmer's Mutual Insurance business in southeastern Iowa. A meeting to promote an Estherville military company drew many to sign enlistment agreements and adjutant general of Iowa expected 800 to visit the situation.
