Estherville to Build New City Hospital Annex
A new three story hospital building is planned south of the present Estherville hospital to house a laboratory X ray room dining kitchen and offices on the first floor eleven patient rooms on the second floor and two operating rooms plus six patient rooms on the third floor. The annex will accommodate fifty to fifty five patients and will be fireproof with steel elevator doors and a wood free interior. Dr. R. C. Goleman will lead with Dr. M. R. Sathe as associate and Oscar agreements for concrete and plumbing. the project aims to boost Estherville’s status and attract visitors seeking modern medical care.
