Babson Park Packing Plant re-elects directors at annual stockholders meeting

At the Babson Park Co operative Packing Plant annual stockholders meeting on Tuesday afternoon the directors H E Fairchild Max Waldron Mrs Wilkins Joe Haskins and Geo A Nichols were reelected. The plant, owned by growers, employs many locals about ten months yearly and plans to handle about 175000 boxes of citrus this season. It is linked with the Co operative Canning Plant in Leake Wales, aiding disposal of fruit to markets and cannery. The plant cost about 85000 and processes fruit for juice and canned products for shipment.
