Dee Moines May 4 1921 John Lurber of Madison County died fifteen years ago leaving a pension. His brother Isaac was dead, and John impersonated him to collect 50 a month. For fifteen years pension vouchers were sent to Perry, Iowa, totaling an estimated 6000 to 7000 dollars. Local investigators traced the fraud to a Perry postmaster, revealing the impersonation scheme and pension fraud.
