Estherville Newspaper Critique and Local Notices

The Estherville paper discusses March as a month of death and bad weather, urges harmony in city politics, and notes the water crisis after a bond vote. It cites Iowa crops and farmers, urges buying local, and recounts a postal dispute over a lottery ad in Duncombe Tribune.

Is There Any Necessity For Reorganizing The Republican Party

The paper argues against reorganization saying the party’s principles are sound and have broad support. It contends that defeat did not justify change and praises protection era successes for labor, farmers, and capital. It blames current reform talk on those causing disruption and predicts voters will return to the party as it is.
