Gruver Bridge Victory Over Estherville Visitors
Gruver hosted Estherville and Gruver teams for a Monday night bridge game with the home team winning. The League ladies cleared 27 dollars from the town sale day dinner and issued thanks to all helpers. Election of officers at Wednesday’s League meeting named Mrs. John Campbell president and others to offices. Bonds were chosen for the coming year. Next meeting set for Thursday, April 6 with hosts Mrs Curtisage and Mrs Hugh Mackey.

The event drew a number of local young people to Estherville on Friday night for a St Patrick's dance. Marie Lyle was visiting Mildred Brown for the weekend.
