Sunday dinner menu suggestions from Quaker Maid
Weather across the country has boosted winter vegetables and fruits with cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, lettuce, tomatoes, beans, peas, beets, carrots, celery, and strawberries in abundant supply. Asparagus will arrive earlier than usual next week. Fresh fish looks limited, but salted, smoked, and canned varieties will meet demand. Eggs drop in price and cheese remains inexpensive. Pair these with macaroni, spaghetti, or noodles for Lenten dishes. Quaker Maid offers suggested menus.
