Conductor R F Munson was instantly killed unloading a piano from a freight car at the M and St L yard. A coroner’s inquest found death accidental. Survived by wife Delime Smith and two children Clyde and Minnie. Funeral slated from the home on East Lincoln Street with Rev Ginn preaching.

Nantucket, June 26. Miss Helen Wilson of New York and Miss Mildred De Haven of Brooklyn, prominent in society, died in a boathouse fire started by a smoking match on an oiled floor. Several others were injured including Thomas Kerr. Fire trapped the women in a small room. Barnes family hosts, with Ulysses Pahud severely hurt and not expected to live.
