Emmet County Great Celebration Recall June Day

A long awaited June eighteenth celebration in Emmet County left hundreds with memories of a patriotic display. The parade featured nearly three hundred uniformed boys led by Ray Kennedy, while the War Mothers and Red Cross workers received homage. A flying circus by Milford aviators and a town fair with rides, floats, and a Bevo bar contributed to a festive day that united residents and visitors in tribute to fallen soldiers.
