Initially the girl gave the name Miss May Smith but later admitted her real identity to the police matron. She is from a well known respectable city family whose relatives now care for her. Burglary at A. C. Brown Residence Stolen Silverware

A burglary occurred Saturday night at A. C. Brown's residence with entry by a cut kitchen door panel. About one hundred dollars in silverware, provisions, and other goods were taken. Suspects described as a scissors grinder and umbrella mender were in town but not found Sunday morning. A separate notice seeks cattle and horses for pasture near Estherville from local agents.
