Death of George Markley in Superior Wisconsin
Word arrived Tuesday that George Markley was killed in Superior. His brother Earl left for the place to recover the remains. The body was mangled and cause of death unknown, believed to be being run over by cars. Burial planned in Oak Hall cemetery. He leaves a wife, daughter, father, sister, and two brothers. Palmer, a farmer, faced mental health issues after bullying and a jail incident in Estherville. Sheriff Butler sought Marshall county custody as he did not yet have Emmet county residence.
