Arnolds Park Wharf Battle Won by State
The Iowa supreme court halted Dr. A. L. Peck's attempt to block a public wharf on West Okoboji at Arnolds Park. The decision clarifies state board of conservation authority over navigable waters and allows completion of the wharf, with Alfred Olson Construction Co. as co-defendant. Peck had been denied a rehearing and an injunction twice by the Dickinson county district court. The 1930 ruling by Justice Evans had previously denied the appeal.
