Emmet County Officials Adopt 1940 Budget and County Wages
Emmet County Board of Supervisors approved the 1940 budget and issued warrants from the Poor Fund. Salary schedules for county officials were set, and deputies and assistants were appointed. The meeting covered maintenance, road, drainage, and various fund disbursements including the county farm and tuberculosis, library, and soldiers relief funds with numerous claims audited and approved.
