A busy week in Estherville and surrounding towns with multiple visits, hospital updates, and community events. Attys Pammer and Whitlah travel for legal matters, neighbors and relatives visit, and local residents attend meetings, with moves on farms and a regional bank expansion noted.
Local social calendar lists numerous gatherings including bridge club at Mrs G Andersons, Coon Samliex dinner at South Eighth Street, and various Woman's Club departments meeting Feb 1 and 2. Also notes Parent Teachers association meeting, Catholic Daughters installation, Missionary Society surprise for Mr and Mrs Putler, and D. D. I. club session with Mrs Ridley with ground hog day planned.
The Parente-Teachers Association of Washington School will meet Tuesday evening February 2 at 7 30 o clock. A fine program has been arranged by the committee in charge and a social hour will complete the meeting. White Shrine Holds 6 30 Dinner Dance
English service with Holy Communion set for next Sunday at 10 30 A M. Those wishing to take communion should inform the pastor at the parsonage Friday afternoon or Saturday after 4 p m. Walther league meets Thursday evening in the public library rest room, Sunday school at 10 A M.
The Lutheran Ladies Aid gathers Thursday afternoon at Mrs. Chris Larson home with Mrs. Curtis Larson and Mrs. Chris Larson as hostesses. Prayer meeting Thursday evening at B. N. Osher home. Confirmation class Saturday morning. Bible classes Sunday morning and evening. Teachers listed. Lutheran continuation class Saturday afternoon. Services Sunday at 11 in Norse and 8 in English. T. The Grover Community Church invites teachers officers and pupils to Sunday School at 10 30 and a preaching service at 11 30 with the topic Why is a Church Special music. The Circle meets Thursday after noon Jan 28 and an annual meeting for officer elections is set for Sunday Feb 7 at 117530 Do not forget the date.
Grace Episcopal Church in Spenser Town invites the public to Sunday services on January 31 at 3 30 PM at the Synscopal Church in Witherville conducted by Reverend Ryerson of Spenser. All are welcome to attend.
