Mrs Fred Ehlers hosted the Del A Dek bridge club at her home with a 1 30 dessert luncheon. Rural Youths Install Officers and Plan Party
Fifty-one Emmet county rural youths met January 19 in Armstrong gymnasium. New officers were installed for the year: President Cecil Christensen, Vice President Evelyn Ellis, Secretary Ann Schaper, Treasurer Paul Voetman, Reporters Bertina Petersen and Dan Naas. Kenneth West to represent the club at the Ames convention February 17–18. Mrs Maxine Workman nominated for a state office. Entertainment led by Caretta Voetman. A skating party is set for January 25 at Dreamland rink Arnold's Park.

Golden Wedding Anniversary Attended by Iowa Family
Mrs L E Crim traveled to Des Moines to join her parents Mr and Mrs W A Shaffer in celebrating their golden anniversary. The event included a reception and dinner with family members Irvin Shaffer and De St Paer of Larrabee and Jimmy Crim Estherville. The couple, ages 70 and 67, enjoy good health and long marriage.
