Wires cause near tragedy for city linemen Shuttleworth James
In Superior on Tuesday at 4 pm Charles Shuttleworth and Lee James were repairing a line when their winding contact met a live 2,500 volt wire, narrowly averting disaster. A separate house fire north of town killed Oscar Hansen, while a thaw and milder weather replaced midwinter snow. Community notices include family travels and upcoming weddings and showers.
