Weather review of 1926 by Weather Bureau findings
1926 in review shows crop yields varied by region with frost damage limited. Temperatures were below normal east and above west. cotton and other crops benefited from warm southern conditions. Rainfall was near normal to dry in many areas. frost was less damaging than typical, and overall yearly weather showed notable deviations from long term norms with record-like variability.
