New Officers Installed By Eastern Star Chapter
North Star Chapter No. 200 OES installed new officers at a special Wednesday meeting at the Masonic hall led by retiring matron Mrs. S. B. Twetten. Mrs. Oscar Fagre becomes worthy matron with Henry Mahlum as worthy patron and a full slate of officers named. Refreshments afterward were arranged by co chairmen Mrs. K. J. McDonald and Mrs. H. L. McMillan and a large list of members assisted.

Miss Maxine Truesdell, to wed January 12 to Isidore Neppi, was feted at a miscellaneous shower in the Emmet Consolidated gym last Wednesday afternoon by club ladies. Charlotte Zerfoss and Kenneth Thomson were united in marriage in a single ring ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Presbyterian Study officiated by Rev. Claude Fausnaugh. The bride wore teal blue silk. best man was Isadore Nepple and attendant Maxine Truesdell wore black silk. The couple planned a winter visit to the groom’s parents in Winterset Iowa after the ceremony.
