Iowa’s Growth Under a Crace Church Rector
Dr. Thos BH Green, for fifteen years Crace Church rector in Cedar Rapids, extols Iowa in a Redpath Lecture. He touts Iowa’s vast agricultural output, low crime, high solvency, and minimal waste land, arguing a single state measuring unit shows the nation’s destiny tied to Iowa’s soil and farms. He highlights corn, oats, potatoes, hay, dairy gains, and a massive agricultural economy.
