In March term 1920 the Iowa Emmet County court hears a suit by C V Pringle against Reed and numerous Reed heirs and spouses over ownership of NW quarter section in Emmet County. The complaint alleges adverse claims based on tax deeds and 1912 deed, seeks quieting of title, costs, and possession after more than ten years of open, notorious, exclusive possession by plaintiffs. Original notice served to all defendants and unknown claimants with return date of March 2, 1920. Mrs Elmina S Cronk died at 8 pm February 1 at her sister Mrs EL Campbell's home 680 South Liberty Street. She was born December 25 1845 at North and November 26 146% and married Edward Peck of Phite who died in 1887. They had two sons.

Mrs. Cronk of Estherville Forsythe Moritana Centerville Iowa and Forsythe survivor list includes her son George BH Eastman and Warren H Cronk and daughter Estelle who died in infancy. She married Cyrus Cronk in 1892 and died 1916 leaving four grandchildren four sisters four brothers and four step children. Funeral services Sunday at 1 20 pm at sister E Campbell home with burial at Bluff City cemetery in Elgin Illinois.

Jorgen Rasmussen Dies After Illness At 87
Jorgen Rasmussen, 87, a long time Ringsted area resident, died Wednesday morning after a ten day illness due to a cold and age. He immigrated from Denmark to Michigan then moved to Clear Lake and later to Denmark township in Emmet county. He is survived by his wife Maren Hansa, daughter H. OT Rasmussen of Kingested, and a brother J Robinson of Ringsted. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 pm at the Rasmussen home and St Pauls church with interment in St Pauls cemetery east of town.

Johansen-Hoohr Couple Wed At St Johns Church
Eleonora Johansen and Peter Hothr were married at St Johns church in Ringsted last week. Rev Tsaksen officiated with Lizzette Christensen as bridesmaid and Victor Hoohr as best man. The ceremony followed by a supper at the bride’s home. The bride, daughter of C C Johansen, had cared for her father since her mother’s death. The groom is a newcomer with local relatives.
