County Board Proceedings Open Bid for County Farm Steward
The Emmet County Board met February 7 1921 with all members present to approve bonds for local officials and to select a County Farm steward. J W Fields won the bid at 1900 per year starting March 1 1921 with full staff provided. Supplemental drainage report recommended converting main open drain sections to a closed tile system at estimated cost 12268.93 and approved a mortgage release for the Emmet County School Fund after payment in full.
