Buffalo Farm Receives Rare Buffaloes at Spirit Lake
A cargo of buffaloes arrived by express to Spirit Lake during the past week, billed to farmer John Relubart. The herd, thin and near extinction, originated from Fort Pierre, South Dakota, whose owner died recently. Mr Reinhart secured several animals, shipped in a large palace stock car, with express charges about two and a half dollars. The line notes the shipment as a notable achievement for Reinhart’s farm, now boasting a field of real buffaloes.
