Treas Hanson Adjourns Tax Sale Until Jan 23
Treasurer B H Hanson adjourned the annual Emmet county delinquent tax sale at the courthouse until January 23 after bidders and observers waited. The pause allows county residents another month to raise funds to pay taxes on farms, businesses, and homes. The adjournment mirrors a common legal postponement used in many counties, with Hawarden adopting a similar scheme.
